STS in Engineering Education: Contributions From the Engineering, Technology and Society Network

Based on the teaching experience of Engineering, Technology and Society Network, this paper analyzes contributions made by STS studies to engineering education. This network offers educational perspectives for students in their first semesters higher education has added recently a graduate approach. article describes how scholarship contributed comprehensive view technology, interdisciplinarity development critical thinking. Finally, it reviews through active design context, emergence certificate program under an engineering, technology society combines social participation, technological assessment
